Course Overview

Diversity Certification DELA 500. Project management in combination with change management aims to increase the likelihood that projects or initiatives deliver the intended results and outcomes.The purpose of this course is to provide participants with a framework for transforming an organization into the engaging, collegial, and inclusive workplace.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will:

  • Increase awareness of appropriate project management behaviors
  • Define a project and establish a scope
  • Plan and control a project
  • Identify the critical components needed for project management at each stage.
  • Develop a personal action plan for project management.

Evaluation

Successful completion of the course requires completing the classroom and attendance assignments. Each assignment must be completed. Attendance requirements include getting to class on time, resisting email, chat, etc. communications, ability to follow the course ground rules, etc.
