Diversity Certification DELA 400A Course Overview

The Diversity Certification DELA 400A course is designed to develop your ability to offer high impact training. The goal is to give you a set of best practice tools needed to understand high impact training design, development, and facilitation. The course emphasizes cultural diversity training, but the skills can be applied to any type of training. This a classroom course. The online version is DELA 400B.

There are two parts to training: (1) High Impact Cultural Diversity Training Techniques (2) Training Facilitation Skills. Training design and development involves a combination of skill, discipline, experience, and creativity.

Formal instruction in training development involves creating instructional materials and assessing quality assurance to make certain that there is a close fit between what you intended in the design and the actual product contents. We will not cover this much in this course. That is reserved for the Training Design & Development course (DELA 200).
